Tammy Silvas has been a practicing attorney for over 25 years, specializing in estate planning, business planning, and real estate.

 

During her years practicing law, she has grown more and more passionate about helping families protect their loved ones and their assets as well as helping business owners establish a strong foundation for their business while purposely preparing for the twists and turns that inevitably come with business ownership.

 

Tammy focuses on Family Protection, Wealth & Asset Preservation, and Value-Based Legacy Planning. Whether you are married or single, a traditional family or a blended one, starting out or looking back on a life well-lived, she will help you to craft a plan that achieves your goals for today and for years to come.

 

Tammy thoroughly enjoys educating her community. She is an adjunct professor at Texas A&M School of Law, and she often speaks to small and large groups on a variety of family wealth planning topics, business strategies, and real estate issues.

 

She is the proud mother of 5 beautiful children, JJ, Nicholas, Nathan, Dora and Paul. When she’s not participating in their lives and activities, you will find her enjoying yoga, camping and kayaking.


Lisa Van Ackeren, Attorney of Counsel

Lisa is a Texas attorney and entrepreneur with legal, insurance and risk management experience that expands almost 30 years that includes over 16 years of legal and entrepreneurial experience as the Founder/Owner/Operator of a national corporate wellness company.


In April 2022, the Texas Bar Foundation awarded Texas A&M University School of Law a grant to support her Legal Wellness Justice Project. In August 2022, she began a three-year Presidential Appointment to the American Bar Association Standing Committee on Legal Delivery.


Lisa has been the recipient of several awards including the National Association of Women Business Owners Rising Star Award. During her years as an entrepreneur, in practicing law and in her personal experiences, she has grown more and more passionate about educating people on how to advocate for themselves and avoid preventable legal crisis in their families and businesses.


Lisa thoroughly enjoys teaching as an adjunct professor at Texas A&M School of Law. She loves educating people on a variety of topics about early legal intervention in creating long term stability, helping people to identifying their own “legal risk” and when and where to get legal services, providing corporate legal audits and business formation guidance. Also post-pandemic, Lisa has become passionate about trust planning and helping people to avoid probate court.



A true Aggie, Lisa is an alumnus of Texas A&M University and Texas A&M University School of Law. She is the proud mother of William (a Loyola Chicago Rambler) and Jack (a Paschal Panther) and she is beyond grateful to be raising her step-grandchild Layla (9). When she’s not participating in their lives and activities, you will find her with her Fiancé Riddley or enjoying some quiet time reading or writing.
